A Photo Walk with ASKET

Unraveling the thread. From sheep to sweater.

As the season changes and the days become cooler, I like to spend my time off outdoors. The merino wool sweater by ASKET is my choice of garment for days like this. I grabbed some film and my Olympus 35rc and set out for a little adventure through the neighborhood.

Merino wool is one of my personal favorite autumn/winter fabrics and now its crafted better than ever. It’s properties are a result of the rugged conditions in which Merino sheep live, with scorching summers and freezing winters. Merino sheep have developed a quality and versatile fleece- soft, breathable, temperature regulating and moisture wicking. All this properties are present in The Merino Wool Sweater, and at 20% the width of a human hair, Merino wool is superfine so it doesn’t have the same scratchiness as other wool.

In partnership with ASKET promoting their sustainability efforts.
