HALL Arts Staycation
A new year is here and with it has come a lot of work from post holiday break, tax season, and the excitement to hit some goals. At just the right time, my wife and I were thrilled to experience the highly anticipated new property that just opened its doors right in the heart of Arts District of Dallas. The HALL Arts Hotel.
After check-in and a few hours relaxing in our room, we made it on down to our reservation at Ellie’s Restaurant & Lounge. The sleek HALL Arts Hotel eatery serving Napa-inspired chef-driven meals, also named after the hotels owners mother in honor of her great love for fine art and hospitality.
Elevated style, boundless creativity. The HALL Arts Hotel was quite the experience and recharge we needed. I personally was inspired by the well curated art, the food, and our perfect room. Located in the Arts District of Dallas, this new property exudes vibrance. We loved being down the street from both the Dallas Museum of Art & The Nasher Sculpture Center and across the street from the Winspear Opera House. I have a good feeling we’ll plan another visit around the holidays later this year for a nice stay and performance. Nonetheless our first experience here raised the bar quite high for any future stays elsewhere. On the last day of our time here the director-of-marketing took us on a guided tour of the property and what we came to find out is that most of the art in the hotel, including the lobby, is by women artists and each year the owners donate large amounts of money & resources into the Arts District and community empowering the next generation to keep creating and inspiring. As a young artist I was left with a lot to think about with my own life and certainly my own artistic efforts. More specifically on how to create from a place of positivity with excellence that would leave a great impact in this world. With that being said, this past weekend was absolutely incredible! Whether you are a Dallas local like us, or someone who has the city on your travel list, look no further for a magical experience than that of the HALL Arts Hotel.
