Summer Fits & Lifestyle Bits
A minimalistic approach to a very warm season.
This is an insight to a couple of staple items that are foundational to my personal style no matter the time of year.
Common Projects I Love Ugly Zara Hodina RAEN
I have fallen into a rhythm of minimalism. From my wardrode to home interior, I love the use of neutral colors year-round. The idea of investing more into less is almost second nature to me now. Every once in awhile I like to mix up an outfit with a printed shirt or a bold accesorry like a bag or layered jacket, and still keep the staples like black fitted pants or white trainers like these Common Projects pictured above. For the most part my outfits stay within this minimalistic/simple style and I am okay with that.
Here in Dallas we get very intense summers and for me I personally hate the heat and always beg for fall/winter to soon arrive. I rarely feel inspired to shop or play with outfit ideas. It’s too hot and there’s almost no point because the moment you leave and step outside, is the moment you melt and just want to take it all off. Until then, I have to make the most and power through these heat waves with simple outfits like this one. Modern, timeless, and if styled right; still attention grabbing.
All in all I hope this minimalistic approach to styling or any style for that matter shows that this is more about the individual and what works best for you not the products and garments them selves. That style isn’t limited to a season or weather condition. Style is a part of who you are.
